About Joshua
As someone with over ten years of tutoring experience, I have the utmost confidence that I can help you meet your goals. Struggling in a math class, or just a particular topic? I can help you overcome that obstacle. I have turored from ages 10 - 32 and understand that not everyone learns the same way, and as a result, I am willing to teach from a multitude of approaches to better suit your needs. I have 4 years of teaching experience in an accredited high school in Texas where I have gained plenty of knowledge in the teaching field.
I have a bachelors degree in applied math, and four years of teaching experience where I have learned many techniques that I can apply in my tutoring sessions.

After a short introduction, I like to assess what the main issue is and then dive right in. As we are going through some of the practice problems or homework problems, it will become evident where the student is struggling most.
I have worked with students from as early as the fourth grade to students obtaining a masters degree.

My usual charge is $20 an hour, but I usually charge $15 if there are three or more students I am tutoring at the same time.
