About Aaron
I am an experienced Special Education teacher available for Math tutoring as well as assistance with organization/executive functioning, general homework help, and test preparation.
I have taught Special Education at the secondary level for the past 10 years, and have tutored elementary through high school students for over a decade. I currently work in NYC teaching 6th grade math, but I have taught all middle school grade levels.
I am skilled at individualizing instruction to meet the learning needs of all students. I also have experience using many different online learning platforms and am very comfortable teaching students remotely!
Very responsive and flexible around meeting time/location (online and in-person)
I love working with students and seeing them start to feel more comfortable and confident in their abilities. I know from experience that many students hate math or feel like it is too hard for them, but once the material is broken down, they start to feel more successful and see the beauty of the subject!
