About Karlo
I am an experienced educator with over 20 years of tutoring and teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects at the middle school, high school, college and university levels. Patience, support, providing feedback, step by step explanations, and enthusiasm are involved in my approach to tutoring and teaching. Also, I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
I enjoy tutoring students because of seeing them learn and understand Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. Especially important to me is when students who have been struggling with a STEM subject, begin to improve in their understanding of the subject.

I introduce myself to a new student and I explain the tools available on the online tutoring platform that we use for the tutoring session. Then I ask the student what subject material they would like to review. Also, I let them know that if they have questions at any time during the tutoring session, they can ask me and we can review their questions.
