About Margarita

I am a recent university graduate myself. I know how hard it can get to prepare for a test, midterm or final. I know also how unmotivated you can be.

Therefore, I have created many different techniques how to make math classes interesting and easy for you. We will apply math knowledge in real world to see why and how you can use it.

I meet different people with thier own creative ways to solve any problem. I always force creativity at my classes, I want a student to develop new methods of solving. As a result, we teach eath other.

My analytical skills always helped me be a good student in math classes. I enjoyed working with numbers and solving logic problems. During my sophomore year I was noticed by one of the math professors and offered a tutor position. I liked it!

I have been a math tutor since 2015. First, as a math professor assistant in the university. My tasks were to hold additional classes, exam preparation sessions, check homework and tests. After the graduation I was teaching individual classes to student from 6th grade to senior students. My main spheres of expertise are Calculus I, II, III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Algebra I, II, Finite Math, but I also teach more advanced lessons such as Econometrics, Math Finance, Abstract Algebra and Numerical Analysis.

About the lesson

Acquaintance with the student and with the parent if the student is below 15 y.o. (interest, hobbies, character to find en individual approach)

Checking the level of math knowledge (the general problem solving skills and each topic familiarity to identify the gaps)

Setting up goals for the classes and approving them with the student and the parent (to be sure what we are doing, how long it will take and what our expectations are)

Drawing up a lesson plan based on the goals.

Following the plan on regular basis. Once a month I conduct an additional diagnostic test to show the progress of a student and adjust the lesson plan if it is necessary.

Mostly college students.

Make sure you choose a teacher, who can be your friend: has similar interets, opinions and experience. Then, your classes will be not only productive but also interesting. You will want to continue studying .
