About Casandra

I am a recent graduate with a strong interdisciplinary background in biomedical sciences and education. I hold a Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment (MSc MMIT) from the University of Groningen and a Master’s in Medical Science from Uppsala University, earned through the Erasmus+ International Double Master in Innovative Medicine (IMIM) program in the Netherlands and Sweden. I completed my undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with minors in Spanish and Microbiology.

I have been tutoring since 2016, providing personalized, one-on-one instruction in Algebra, Geometry, ACT and SAT preparation, Spanish, and Biology. My teaching philosophy emphasizes a supportive, confidence-building learning environment, helping students develop both strong academic skills and a positive self-concept as learners.

My background in scientific research—including work in neuroscience and oncology—allows me to integrate real-world applications into my sessions, making complex concepts more engaging and accessible. I am deeply passionate about education and committed to empowering students to reach their academic goals with clarity, confidence, and motivation.

About the lesson

Mathematics lessons offered by Casandra are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Oklahoma City. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

Perfect! Ms. Cass is awesome. She tutored my daughter in algebra. Her instructions were step by step and made sure you understood the process. Ms. Cass is very patient and knowledgeable. My daughter looked forward to her tutor sessions because she was excited to learn how the problems work. When she started her first session, she was making an F in algebra and she was 8 1/2 months in the school year. And with in a few months and alot of hard work she was abe to raise it to a B. I also saw a positive difference in my daughter's self esteem. Thank you Ms. Cass and this website
