About Brandon
I believe that anyone can understand diffucult subjects given time and the right guidance. I have been tutoring in mathematics since high school (so for 10 years now) and have a passion for helping students understand math. I know it can be difficult and frustrating, but I truly believe anyone can learn. My favorite thing in the world is that moment when something finally makes sense and students feel empowered to pass their classes and do well in their studies.
I am currently working on my Bachelors in Mathematics at PSU.
I have been studying math and tutoring for almost 10 years, and one-on-one instruction is the best way, in my opinion, to help students understand diffucult subject matter.

When working with a new student we'll start by determining what is most needed. Whether it's just needing help with assignments to make sure they understand what they're doing or if we need to go back to the drawing board and explain complicated concepts in ways that are more easy to understand.
I have worked with mostly high school students, and have plenty of experience tutoring college level courses and adult college learners as well.
The best piece of advice I can give is to make sure you can actually understand a subject when a tutor helps you with it. If you're needing a tutor, you probably are having trouble understanding the subject just from the teacher's explanation, so having a tutor that can explain things in a way you can understand is the most important.
