About Camden

I have four years of experience tutoring students at my high school, and I am passionate about seeing their growth.

I am a senior at NC State University where I study Business Administration and have a 3.85 GPA.

In high school I earned a 31 on my ACT and a 1390 on my SAT.

My dad has been a teacher for as long as I have been alive, so it is something I have always enjoyed and seen him do well. I have had the benefit of having some amazing teachers that allowed me to be where I am today, and it is something I have admired and wanted to do. When I reached high school, I began tutoring younger students. While it is not academic related, I also enjoy coaching flag football which allows me to connect with students.

I have four years of experience working with tutoring students at my high school. I have also spent time tutoring students at my communities' after school program.

As far as education, I graduated high school with a 4.6 GPA, a 31 on the ACT, and a 1390 on the SAT. I am now a senior at NC State where I am a member of the Honors College and have a 3.85 GPA.

About the lesson

Typically, I spend the first ten minutes getting to know the student. Asking them what they enjoy doing, their favorite foods, and that sort of thing. I believe it is very important to build the relationship before diving into the academic material.

I have worked with varying types of students from elementary children struggling to read to high school students in AP Calculus.
