About Vivian

Hi, I tutor for high school-level math and anything below. If you want help in other subjects as well I am more than happy to offer my assistance or to be there to support you.

I offer a rate of around $12.00 for a 1-hour session. After a free session.

I am patient and try my best to adjust to the needs of the students. I have tutored friends before to help them with school work specifically math schoolwork.

I like to help students who struggle with schoolwork and need a little extra assistance in understanding material.

I know the difficulty of understanding everything that school throws at you. That's why I want to help make it easier to get through it.

I started by helping to tutor a friend who was having trouble with math and met with them once a week during school to try and help them with their current assignments. I have also given advice here and there to my peers in other classes.

I am currently in college and am working on getting a degree in accounting so I am very familiar with equations and numbers. I have also done calculus for students who need help with college-level math if necessary though I am much better at the high school level.

About the lesson

I try and understand what problems or parts of math problems students are having trouble with as a default for starting out. If students don't know the general parts that they need to work on I am willing to help and support them in finding the issues.
