About Jemies
I am a current student at University of Maryland College Park set to graduage Fall 2020 with a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Math Education and a teacher's certification in the state of Maryland.
I have experience tutoring students from middle school to college.
I taught Honors Algebra II at a local high school for half a year for my senior internship.
I have been a paid learning assistant and tutor in college for calculus and college algebra respectively.
I have a passion for getting to know my students to know what works best for them, and always believing that everyone can do math.
I love getting to know my students, helping them learn their strengths, and showing people that everyone can learn and enjoy math.
Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Math Education and Teacher's Certification in the state of Maryland (by graduation in December 2020)
