I love learning new phrases and maxims that help motivate me when I am learning something new. Here are a few:

I am an experienced musician who has worked as a private guitar, piano and music theory instructor for the past 10 years.

I love playing music with friends and family to various types of music.

I have also taught all grade levels as a substitute teacher for the past 2 years and worked with middle school and high school students as a tutor in Math, English and Spanish as well as college preparation within the AVID curriculum.

I have a Bachelor's in Science in Computer Engineering and worked in the Information Technology field for five years.

I have visited many countries, including Spain, Canada, Kenya and Mexico.

About the lesson

I love creating a safe environment to share opinions, thoughts and feedback. I believe that any good teacher learns from their students and takes input and creates a welcoming atmosphere to spark interesting conversation. The teacher must become the student so that the student can become the teacher. In any relationship, professional or personal, there must be trust between the individuals and a common sense of respect. Once that is established, then we can get into the fun details of learning!
