About Sabrina

As a college senior, I understand how difficult it can be to try and understand a difficult concept when you're at home working on an assignment, if you're not sure why you don't understand when you feel like everyone else does, and when the internet just isn't answering your questions. I'm here to help - and to be a sounding board for any and all of the questions you might have - no judgement. As an MIT student, I'm also happy to answer any questions about college admissions and the application process.

Knowing I've helped you understand a difficult problem is the best reward - but also - I'm a college student so I love the pocket money too :)

I am an active teacher/tutor in my community and provide services to teach students how to do hands-on activities in STEAM fields.

I'm a senior at MIT studying aerospace engineering and planetary science, and I have a strong background in mathematics, engineering, physics and writing papers.

About the lesson

The first step is getting a sense for what kinds of problems or material you need help with. If you find yourself stuck on a similar problem often, share it with me! That'll help me tailor my session to help address your needs. And one of the best ways to learn is to continue to work problems - I'll provide you some practice questions so that you can be confident in your improvement.

I primarily work with K-10 students.

If you can identify a type of problem or specific course material that you're confused about - that helps us tutors the most! We can address that right away to get you ready for whatever quiz, exam or homework problem is coming your way. If you're not sure where you're having trouble, consider grabbing a friend or parent and trying to teach them the concept. If they ask questions you can't answer - write it down! That's where your knowledge might be a little fuzzy - and that's where I can help you out!
