About Kristy

I am a current 3rd grade Math and Science teacher with 7 years teaching experience in various grade levels and subject areas. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to Freshman.

I believe in creating positive relationships with my students and creating a space where they can be themselves. I incorporate real world examples within lessons and try to bring as much fun as I can.

I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.

I believe communication is key for both students and parents and strive to be very upfront about what is taking place during lessons and any recommendations I may have.
