About Timothy
I genuinely feel like I've been a teacher my entire life; however, only since summer of 2018 had I officially started a teaching position. I think I started officially doing it because I realized I thoroughly enjoy expanding the library of knowledge that is a child's brain.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Ever since 1st grade I have had a knack for passing down my math knowledge that I've seamlessly acquired. I have been a teacher and RA for international Chinese students (middle school age). I have been an after school advisor for children between the ages of K-6. Currently, I am a substitue teacher in Chicopee school districts working with all subjects and all age groups.

Figuring out where they are exactly in a particular subject in order to step by step get them to where they need to be. Rather than trying to make giant leaps, in order to fill the gaps they may have, I find it best to slowly but surely progress with the work in order to avoid making the child feel like they are unintelligent, less than, or incapable. My goal is to make everything seem like enjoyable learning rather than tedious work.
