About Diane

I am passionate about students' learning and helping students to achieve their potential and a successful education, whether in public, private or homeschool environment. I believe that one on one instruction maximizes a student's learning and helps a struggling student learn more efficiently.

I am a Ohio licensed educator with 21 years of experience in both public and private schools. I taught in Middletown City Schools for 20 years and at Liberty Bible Academy for 1 year before retiring. I have also done homeschool end of the year assessments for 16 years. I retired from public education in 2018 but am passionate about helping students.

Diane Spaeth is a dedicated primary teacher. She uses children'sliterature to enhance the curriculum and encourage true student engagement in the lesson. She has developed curriculum andassessments that have been used district wide. She is an asset to the field of education.

It may seem cliche' but I love to see kids learning and having fun while doing it. I have spent a good portion of the last 20 years encouraging young learners. Students understanding a concept or learning to read and can not get enough books to devour. Watching students learn to write and express themselves is an exciting thing to watch.

Mrs. Spaeth has shown me how to read. She has given me the right strategies to use when I get to a word I do not know. She is awesome.
