About Blakeleigh
Hello! My name is Blakeleigh. I am a former kindergarten teacher. I went to Ball State University, where I earned my degree in elementary education with concentrations in early childhood and reading. I am now a stay at home mother with my 2 children.
One of the best things to witness is a child gaining confidence and understanding in a new skill. Using fun, interactive methods during lessons is something that I love to do because I want my students to be engaged and motivated during learning. I consider lots of different learning styles and accomodate lessons to the style that works best for the individual. Positive reinforcement, setting goals, and earning rewards are ways that I love to help instill motivation, confidence, and excitemtent through learning.
