About Tracie

I will always find different ways to make you understand music. If you don't understand one concept, I will make sure to find another approach to make sure that you will fully understand it. I have extreme patience, and I will always push you to be the best that you can be. Music lessons will also help you outside of the orchestra room and stage, and I will guarantee that you will have an amazing experience with my sessions.

I absolutely love to see students understand new techniques and repertoire that they would've never thought that they could do. I love to see students gain confidence in their skills, and go follow their dreams to be amazing musicians and human beings.

I'm a Texas Certified Music Teacher. I received my Bachelors in Music Education at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I have been teaching private violin and viola lesson for over 7 years.

About the lesson

For the first lesson, I will allow the student to discuss with me what they want to achieve working with me, and we will layout what we will start with as far as technique and repertoire. If the student is not a beginner, I would like for the student to play me something they can play so I can see their level.

For all students, I will email them a lesson report so they will know what to work on for the following lesson.

Details

My rates are $35 per hour session, or $17.50 per half hour. I also offer online lessons if needed. If traveling to a residence, I will charge a extra $5-10 dollars based on distance.
