About Isabella

Hello! My name is Isabella, and I believe that everyone can meet their goals with the right support and learning plan!

With a graduate degree in Psychology and Therapy and 10+ years of experience in writing, editing, proofreading, curriculum development, K-12 instruction, academic research, higher education student support, and coaching, I bring a diverse set of skills to my tutoring approach. My background in psychology and mental health support contributes to my warm, adaptive, and affirming instruction/support style. In my experience, a positive, empowering relationship between the tutor and client is essential for cultivating an environment where the client feels comfortable making mistakes and building the self-efficacy required for long-term, sustainable growth.

About the lesson

I work with K-12 students, undergraduate and graduate students, and adults looking to expand their skillset, advance their career, or prepare for certification/licensing exams. I am open to working on a short- or long-term basis. By working with me, you will not only receive an individualized, week-by-week lesson plan tailored to your strengths and goals but will also have access to ongoing academic, wellness, and identity development coaching - at no extra cost.
