About Tabinda

With over 15 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Science, I am committed to helping students achieve academic success through clear, structured, and results-oriented instruction. My academic background in Data Science and Machine Learning further strengthens my ability to explain mathematical concepts in a practical and meaningful way. I have worked with students across different levels, from middle school to advanced high school curricula, including IGCSE, GCSE, IB, and SAT preparation. My teaching is fully personalized to each learner’s needs, ensuring steady progress, improved confidence, and a strong conceptual foundation. I maintain a professional, supportive, and disciplined learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and actively engage in the learning process.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered on clarity, understanding, and confidence-building. I believe every student can excel in Mathematics and Science when concepts are explained in a simple, structured, and relatable way. I use a step-by-step method, breaking complex topics into smaller parts and reinforcing them with guided practice and real-world examples.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous concepts, followed by a focused explanation of the new topic using visual aids and examples. We then move into guided problem-solving, where I solve questions alongside the student, gradually shifting to independent practice. Each session ends with a short recap and targeted homework to strengthen understanding.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect academic concepts with practical applications, especially through my background in Data Science and Machine Learning. I also adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace, ensuring they not only memorize formulas but truly understand the logic behind them.

My lessons are designed for students from Grade 5 to Grade 12, including IGCSE, GCSE, IB, and SAT learners, as well as beginners who need strong foundational support in Mathematics, Statistics, or introductory programming.
