About Silas
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and hold an MSc in Physics. My passion lies in helping students understand the physics of everyday objects and phenomena. I believe that learning physics should be both practical and exciting. I use simple demonstrations and relatable examples, such as boiling water, bouncing balls, or the way a car brakes, to make abstract concepts tangible. These real-world illustrations help students connect theory with their daily experiences. I also challenge learners with conceptual problems that encourage critical thinking and deeper understanding. My teaching focuses on nurturing curiosity about the physical world all around us. I guide students to observe, question, and analyze phenomena they might otherwise take for granted. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s pace and interests. I have worked with school and university students, helping them gain confidence in problem-solving and conceptual clarity.
