About Seth
I hold a PhD in Biological Sciences and an MSc Microbiology and Immunology achieved respectively from the University of Edinburgh and the University of Nottingham. In addition, I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from the University of Edinburgh and have been inducted as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Students I have tutored have all gone on to achieve their learning goals and more importantly, passed their exams with excellence. My approach to teaching is customised to the individual needs of the student and in line with their set and shared learning objectives and goals. A typical tutoring will last an hour and integrates how the topic can be examined so that the student has an idea of how to make the link. I hold a PhD in Biological Sciences and an MSc Microbiology and Immunology achieved respectively from the University of Edinburgh and the University of Nottingham. In addition, I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from the University of Edinburgh and have been inducted as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). I tutor high school students preparing for National 5, Advanced Higher and GCSE.
