About Rebecca
I have a 2:1 M.A. (hons) degree in Economic and Social History (with 60 honours credits in Sociology) from the University of Glasgow. I graduated in June 2016. I absolutely loved my degree and still love researching different parts of history. I now work for a feminist organisation and I am extremely passionate about feminist issues!

I would base my classes on each individuals needs as no two people learn everything in the exact same way. My approach to working with students would be a kind approach so they feel able to admit when they make mistakes or feel in any way overwhelmed or they’re struggling. On the other hand, I’d like to make sure they were dedicated to improving their grades and would set weekly tasks/homework for them to do which we could then go over at the next tutoring session. I think it’s crucial to discuss with the students where they have gone wrong rather than to simply give them a poor grade and say ‘do better next time’. I think I’m a very approachable person and wouldn’t make the students feel intimidated or worried about our tutor sessions.
