About Bilyana

Hi! I’m a 3rd-year student specializing in Film & TV Directing and Production.

Cinema is something I genuinely love, and I’ve already had the opportunity to put my studies into practice by creating short films and directing my own reality-show projects. I’m especially passionate about developing ideas, storytelling, directing and everything that happens behind the scenes to turn an idea into something people can actually watch.

I speak French, English and Bulgarian, and I already have experience teaching. Alongside giving French lessons, I also teach production and film-related subjects to students in the years below me.

But for me, teaching isn’t just about explaining information. I’m a very friendly and patient person, and I really try to get to know each student, listen to them and understand how they learn best. Everyone is different, so I adapt my lessons to the person in front of me rather than using the exact same approach with everyone.

I’ve worked with students of different ages and levels, from complete beginners to people who already have some experience. I truly believe that you don’t need to be a “natural” to succeed — if you’re motivated, curious and willing to learn, you can make a huge amount of progress.

So whether you’re completely new to filmmaking or already have a story, script or project you want to develop, I’m here to help you figure it out, support you and, most importantly, enjoy the process with you.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for anyone who is curious about cinema, whether you are a complete beginner or already have some experience and want to develop your skills further.

As a film directing student, I can share both the knowledge I have gained through my studies and the practical experience I have developed through my own projects. We can explore film production, directing, scriptwriting, developing ideas, creating characters and stories, understanding how a film is built from the first idea to the final project, and much more.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s interests and level. If you are just starting out, I will explain everything step by step in a simple and approachable way. If you already have an idea, script or project, we can work on it together and develop it further.

My goal is not simply to give you theory, but to help you understand how to actually use it creatively. I want my lessons to feel like a fun conversation with someone who shares your interest in cinema — a place where you can ask questions, experiment with ideas and learn without being afraid of making mistakes.

Whether you dream of making your first short film, writing a script, understanding how productions works, or simply want to discover more about the world of cinema, I would love to help you get started!
