About William
I am a 4th year PhD student at the Francis Crick Institute and Imperial College London. I work in the field of early stage drug discovery, developing novel therapeutics. My studentship is also Co-funded by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)
I graduated with a 1st Class Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Southampton in 2018 before beginning my PhD in 2019. In the year between my degrees I also worked as a technician and teaching assistant at a South London school, where i regularly helped A-level chemistry students develop their understanding of the subject. I have also taught in university tutorials and workshops

My lessons are typically 1 hour and focus around tailoring the content to suit each students preferred way or learning. Be that through problems set and past exam questions or slower paced step by step tutorials. I also aim to make sure each lesson is as fun and engaging as possible to avoid students from burning out and to keep their passion for the subject alive.
