About Vanshika
Hi, I'm Vanshika.
I'm a Master of Commerce (Finance) student at the University of Sydney, with a Bachelor of Business Administration behind me and three years of professional experience as a credit analyst in the Australian mortgage industry. Numbers have been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
Growing up, I was always the one helping classmates with math, explaining concepts before exams, working through problems together at lunch. I genuinely love teaching, and seeing something finally click for someone never gets old.
What I bring beyond qualifications is patience and the ability to break things down without making the student feel behind. I'm reliable, prepared, and easy to communicate with for both students and parents.

My lessons are designed for primary students (Years 1–6) and junior high schoolers (Years 7–10) who want to build real confidence with math, not just memorize formulas.
I focus on foundations first. Most students struggle with algebra and arithmetic because earlier concepts didn't fully click, so I start by spotting the gaps and rebuilding from there. Each 60-minute lesson follows a simple structure: review, new concept, practice together, targeted homework.
I bring a Bachelor of Business Administration and am currently completing a Master of Commerce (Finance) at the University of Sydney, alongside three years of professional work in financial analysis, so math is something I use every day, not just teach.
I also know every teacher and student has a different style, so I offer a free 30-minute trial class online up front. If my approach works for the student, we continue. The goal is genuine learning, not pressure to commit.
Lessons are available online, at your home, or at a library, whatever works best.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
Vanshika and I are in the same Master's program at USYD, and we've worked on group assignments together. What struck me from day one is how patient she is when explaining things she'll genuinely take the time to make sure you understand, even when she's busy. She's also reliable and easy to coordinate with, which I imagine is just as important for parents as it is for classmates.
I study with Vanshika at the University of Sydney and she's one of the sharpest people in our cohort when it comes to numbers. Whenever I'm stuck on a finance or quant problem, she's the person I message, and she always takes the time to actually explain it, not just give the answer. She'd be a fantastic tutor for any student who needs maths broken down clearly.
I met Vanshika at USYD and we've become close friends. Beyond being academically strong, she has a real generosity about her, she's the kind of person who'll sit with you for an hour explaining something just because she wants you to get it. Calm, encouraging, and never makes anyone feel small for asking a basic question. She'd be a great tutor.

I have set my rates intentionally low and affordable so families can give it a try without commitment, and I'm offering a free 30-minute trial class on top of that. The quality of teaching stays the same only the price reflects that I'm new here. Early students get the best value.
