About Chioma
I’ve always been fascinated by the power of words—to tell stories, make sense of the world and give people a voice. As a writer, reader and tutor, I bring that passion into every lesson. I have a First-Class BA in English and Creative Writing and an MA in Creative Writing with Distinction. I’m warm, patient and encouraging, and I love seeing students discover that they are far more capable than they first believed.

I want my students to do more than pass English—I want them to discover what they can do with words. My lessons are tailored to each student, combining discussion, questioning, creative activities, modelling and focused exam practice. I teach Primary, KS3 and GCSE English, including Literature, Language, reading, essay writing and creative writing, and I have experience supporting SEND learners. I hold a First-Class BA in English and Creative Writing and an MA in Creative Writing with Distinction. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and adapted to each student's needs, interests and goals.
