About Elizabeth

I am a First-Class Criminology graduate and recipient of the Best Dissertation 2025 award, currently studying for an MA Law (PGDL).

Throughout my degree, I developed a strong understanding of academic writing, critical analysis, research methods and assessment expectations. My own work achieved consistently high marks, including an award-winning dissertation, and I now enjoy helping other students build confidence in their academic abilities.

I have experience supporting students with essays, coursework, presentations, research projects and dissertations across criminology, sociology and related social science subjects. I understand that university assignments can feel overwhelming, particularly when you are unsure how to structure arguments, engage critically with sources or interpret assessment criteria.

My approach is supportive, practical and tailored to each student. Rather than simply reviewing work, I help students understand what markers are looking for and develop the skills needed to improve independently.

About the lesson

Every session is tailored to your individual assignment, course requirements and academic goals.

Before our first lesson, I will ask you to send any relevant assessment briefs, marking criteria, feedback sheets or draft work. This allows us to focus immediately on the areas that will have the greatest impact on your grades.

Lessons are delivered online and are suitable for undergraduate students studying criminology, sociology and related social science subjects.
