About Ella
I am a philosophy graduate from the University of Otago. I have a Bachelor of Science (psychology) and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (philosophy). Recently, I wrote a dissertation on ‘What is Beauty?’ My background is in Aesthetics but I am also excellent in other areas in philosophy/psychology.

My teaching methodology is dependent on the sub-field of philosophy. Usually, I get you to read a paper or article of interest. We then discuss any ideas and implications from the paper. Lastly, we have a question and answer session. For advice on essay writing, email me the essay 24 hours before the proposed lesson. We will discuss the essay and how to improve it in the tutorial. For psychology papers, I will get you to send any notes and research. From that, I can guide you on how to conduct a literature review or essay. The first lesson is free so that we can get to know each other. No risk! I also appreciate that not all students may want to use the Superprof platform so I am open to private lessons too.
