About Nayrita

I am a History Honours student in Loreto College. I am passionate about Arts, such as English, History, Geography, foreign languages such as Korean and Japanese. I am also a dancer and a performer since I was six years old. I am patient and understanding and I'd love nothing more than to pass on my knowledge to my juniors.
As for my Language skills, I have aced the TOEFL test with an advanced level score and I also have an intermediate level score in the test of proficiency in Korean.

I believe we learn best from understanding the concepts and not just memorizing. I am here to guide the students to understand and face every problem head-on.

About the lesson

As a student myself I understand how difficult it might get to study and ace all the subjects taught in school along with the projects that are assigned to us.

- I teach online through ZOOM

- In the first few minutes of the class I talk to the students, getting to know them as a person about their hobbies and interests and a little about the difficulty that they might be facing with English. We, as a student-teacher team, then proceed to make an outline of the study session. For example, Understanding the paragraph, marking the difficult words and structuring a summary.

- I, as a teacher, want my students to feel comfortable enough to ask me to clarify their doubts. I am patient and I focus on details.

- The classes are intended for students in III - VIII.

- I also assist the students in writing assignments and projects free of plagiarism. Since I was from the Humanities stream in 11th-12th, I have a grip over the concept of writing and structuring the answers
