About Divinah
I'm a public health student with 4 years of hands-on tutoring experience and yes, I started in my very first year of college. While most students were still finding their footing, I was already walking into an academy every evening and teaching. That consistency has shaped me into a tutor who is reliable, structured, and genuinely passionate about helping students grow.
I teach both academic subjects and Abacus — which means I'm comfortable working with young learners building foundational skills all the way up to students tackling complex concepts. Abacus training in particular has sharpened my ability to teach with patience, method, and creativity, because mental math isn't just a skill it's a mindset.
My public health background also means I understand how environment, stress, and confidence affect learning. I don't just teach content I pay attention to how you're doing as a person, and I adjust accordingly.
Four years in, I still get the same satisfaction when a student finally gets it. That's why I do this.
