About Emmy
I am a graduated honor roll student who has loved math since grade school. I have spent time working on all subjects with middle schoolers and high schoolers. I have experience with all kinds of learners from people with special needs, to people who are neurodivergent, to people who learn in all sorts of different ways. I pride myself on making a meaningful connection without judgment to create a personalized plan for success.

I use many forms of teaching to personalize math lessons. I cater to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. Not all people in middle school and high school learn the same. This leads to challenges including comprehension issues, loss of confidence, and falling behind on lessons. Sometimes people just need it put into different terms or explained to them while actively working on a problem. Personalized one on one lessons can make a huge difference in comprehension and confidence.
