About Sihra

I hold a B.A. in French Literature and Linguistics and have 11 years of experience teaching French to learners of all ages and backgrounds. My teaching philosophy emphasizes structured guidance, cultural immersion, and interactive practice to develop comprehensive language skills. Lessons are customized to meet each student’s level, interests, and objectives. I focus on patience, encouragement, and immersive engagement. Lessons incorporate grammar, vocabulary, conversation, writing, listening, reading comprehension, and cultural content to foster well-rounded proficiency. Outside the classroom, I read contemporary and classical French literature, follow Francophone media, and explore cultural contexts to enrich lessons with authentic materials. About the lesson

My French lessons are designed to cultivate language proficiency across reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while embedding cultural context to deepen understanding. I cover grammar, vocabulary, conversational practice, listening exercises, writing skills, pronunciation, and reading comprehension. Lessons are interactive and student-centered, allowing learners to practice freely, ask questions, and gain confidence. I create a supportive, motivating environment that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and incremental growth, helping students gain fluency and comfort in real-world communication. Beginners focus on core grammar, foundational vocabulary, simple sentence formation, basic conversation skills, and pronunciation practice to build a strong base. Intermediate learners refine conversation, expand vocabulary, understand idiomatic expressions, improve reading comprehension, and practice structured writing. Advanced students tackle complex syntax, advanced grammar, nuanced conversation, literature analysis, and stylistic writing. Lessons combine structured explanation, guided exercises, and practical application to ensure long-term retention and fluency. French lessons also foster analytical thinking, cultural awareness, and confident communication. Students learn to articulate ideas effectively, comprehend context, and engage in meaningful dialogue.
