About Stuart
I am a naturally strong mathematician with a lifelong love of numbers and problem-solving. I have experience supporting learners of all ages to build confidence and improve their skills. Alongside my formal maths knowledge, I have nine years volunteering as a rugby coach, giving me extensive experience motivating and guiding students with patience and encouragement. I am committed to creating a positive, professional learning environment where every student feels supported, understood, and capable of achieving their best. My lessons are tailored to individual needs, ensuring students gain confidence, enjoy learning, and make measurable progress in maths.

I provide friendly, supportive maths lessons tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. My approach focuses on breaking topics into clear, simple steps, using examples, exercises, and real-life problems to make maths engaging and understandable. I encourage questions and ensure students feel confident asking for help.
Lessons typically last 30–60 minutes, giving time to explore concepts, practise skills, and build understanding without overwhelming students. I have always had a strong natural ability in maths and enjoy helping others feel confident and capable with numbers.
I teach primary, KS3, and GCSE students, offering help with homework, exam preparation, or general skill development. My goal is to create a calm, positive learning space where students feel encouraged, make progress, and discover they can enjoy maths.
