About Simranjit
Hello! My name is Simranjit, and I am currently studying BSc (Hons) Computer Science with AI at Birmingham City University.
I have always enjoyed Maths and problem-solving, and I have previous experience supporting younger students in my school as a substitute teacher, helping my juniors understand topics and complete their work. This experience taught me the importance of being patient, approachable and clear when explaining difficult concepts.
As a tutor, I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning. I believe that with the right explanation and regular practice, students can improve their Maths skills and become more confident in their abilities.
I offer friendly and personalised online Maths lessons for KS2 and KS3 students. I take the time to understand each student's strengths and areas for improvement and adapt my lessons accordingly.
Whether a student needs help with a particular topic, homework, revision or simply wants to become more confident in Maths, I aim to provide a supportive and positive learning environment.

I offer friendly and supportive online Maths lessons for KS2 and KS3 students. My aim is to make Maths easier to understand by breaking difficult topics into small, simple steps and explaining the reasoning behind each answer.
I have previous experience helping and teaching students in my school, including younger students and juniors, where I supported them with their studies and explained topics they found difficult. This experience helped me develop patience and learn how to explain concepts in different ways depending on the student's understanding.
My teaching approach is focused on understanding rather than simply memorising answers. I use clear explanations, worked examples and practice questions, and I encourage students to attempt questions independently so they can gradually build confidence.
Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes long and can focus on school topics, homework support, revision, exam preparation or areas where the student needs extra practice.
I am currently studying BSc (Hons) Computer Science with AI at Birmingham City University. My degree involves mathematics, programming and problem-solving, which has strengthened my analytical and logical thinking skills.
My lessons are suitable for KS2 and KS3 students, approximately aged 7–14, including students who need additional support as well as those who want to strengthen their Maths skills and confidence.
