About Emine

I graduated as an oil and gas engineer from Istanbul Technical University which was one of the best universities in Turkey. While I was a uni student, I was also teaching maths, science and english to both primary and secondary school students to improve their academic skills.

My teaching passion started from my university years, and I realised teaching was more satisfying and enjoyable than engineering in time. After working as an engineer in some companies for 6 years, I decided to change my career and yes, I am here to TEACH, HELP, GUIDE, ENCOURAGE and MOTIVATE students with excitement and passion.

About the lesson

I have been teaching Maths for 12+ years and I am a Maths tutor preparing GCSE students for their exams and class studies. I am also teaching KS2 and KS3 Maths to primary and secondary school students who may have difficulties in particular topics or in their exam preparations. I also prepare some students for special exams (SATs, 11+ etc).

I am currently working as a Maths Tutor in a secondary school. I have both online and in-person lessons in my neighborhood. I also have online lessons to teach maths and Science for KS2, KS3 and KS4 students in one-to-one and group sessions. Our sessions take up to 1 hour.

In my lessons, I always use different teaching methods such as presentations, videos, worksheets, and also educational games. In our lessons, I always adapt our methods according to the academic performance and needs of the student.
