About Melleisha

Hi, I’m Melleisha!

I’m a qualified ACA Chartered Accountant and fully qualified Pharmacist.

I have always enjoyed Maths and problem-solving. Through both of my careers, I have used Maths regularly and developed strong analytical skills.

I enjoy helping students understand Maths in a simple and clear way. My aim is to make lessons friendly, enjoyable and tailored to each student.

I specialise in 11+, 13+ and GCSE Maths and can help with:
- Understanding difficult topics
- Exam preparation Practice questions
- Building confidence Improving problem-solving skills

I also offer a free 30-minute assessment and introductory lesson. This gives me the opportunity to understand your child’s strengths and areas they may need help with.

I am enhanced DBS certified.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, reading and playing hockey and badminton.

I look forward to helping your child enjoy Maths and reach their full potential!

About the lesson

My lessons are interactive, supportive and tailored to each student’s learning style. I use visual explanations and step-by-step methods to make Maths easier to understand and help students build confidence.

I teach 11+ through to GCSE Maths, helping students strengthen their core Maths skills, improve their exam technique and feel more confident when tackling challenging questions.

Lessons are usually 1 hour long. I aim to create a positive and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

Most importantly, I want students to leave each lesson feeling more confident in their Maths.
