About Sophie
I tutor Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Biology from 11+ age up to GCSE/iGCSE level - for me tutoring is an opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for these subjects with my tutees.
I obtained high grade 9s for all of these subjects at GCSE level. I study the International Baccalaureate at Godolphin and Latymer School with a high predicted score (45). I currently have a place at Yale University where I am looking to study Physics in a liberal arts curriculum.
I am also happy to tutor for the ACT exam; I obtained a score of 35 out of 36 scoring in the 99.9% percentile of all applicants.
I have previously voluntarily tutored students at Year 5 level for 11+ exam preparation as well as Further Maths GCSE.

I teach through engaging and interactive lessons based on the needs of my tutee.
I prepare for lessons by creating powerpoint, worksheets and content to clarify specific areas of the specification alongside working through past paper questions. I always encourage my tutees to ask questions no matter how big or small. I hope to make my lessons both highly enjoyable and useful!
