I have A levels in Maths and Physics and I am currently in my second year of Physics at the University of Manchester.
I am approachable, understanding and a logical thinker. I would like to inspire confidence in my students.
Previously, I have given primary school maths tutoring over Zoom and Skype.

I would like to take a methodical approach to covering all of the relevant content for the student's level. This will require some overview of their course/syllabus to identify the needs of the student. Once we have covered this, I will approach each topic by firstly introducing it and finding out where the student has knowledge/gaps in their knowledge, and then explore a few broader contextual ideas around the topic. Secondly, I will present the main ideas of the lesson and encourage the student to make notes on these. Thirdly, we will together go through worked examples to test understanding and proficiency. If the student is working towards an exam, then past exam questions will be used.
Throughout there will be opportunities for the student to voice their concerns/ask questions and repeat information where necessary.
