About Lex
While attending uc berkeley, my major was philosophy, which meant reading 3 to 4 page papers every week. It was tough but rewarding.
Additionally, whilst in high school I took all honors and AP classes and thoroughly enjoyed English. I’m sure that I am overly familiar with any novels assigned to work on in classes so be reassured that I understand the material very thoroughly.
While in college, I’ve also helped friends work on essays, and I’ve given them critique, even though I wasn’t in the same class asWhile in college, I’ve also helped friends work on essays, and I’ve given them critique (even though I wasn’t in the same class as them) because I wanted to help— then have been told that my contributions to their work have led to positive feedback and above satisfactory results.
Most importantly, my concerns by within the ability to help and demonstrate that English isn’t as much as a burden or something to be frustrated with.

I believe that many students struggle with whatever subject they are not doing well with primarily due to their frustration.
I enjoy bonding with those I tutor and make sure they feel understood and are not alone in their struggles.
Requirements of mine:
• copy of syllabus
• copy of assignment
• theses for papers
• rough drafts
• material they are to study
This is in order to set up an outline as to what specific material to focus on.
One final note— I do express the importance of their first attempt in order to make sure they are understanding what it is they are learning. Through this, I will know where to begin the session with.
