About Sunrain

I'm a filmmaker with a BFA in Film Production from Emerson College and an MFA in Film Production from USC.

I've spent years studying and practicing filmmaking at a professional level, and I also have extensive experience applying to film schools—so I understand both the creative and academic sides of this industry.

My lessons are open to all levels, whether you're just starting out or looking to take your skills to the next level. I'll guide you through the entire filmmaking process—from developing ideas and writing scripts to shooting, directing, and editing your own projects.

I've also taught filmmaking in summer programs, where my students successfully created their own films from start to finish. So in our classes, you won't just learn theory—you'll actually make something.

Each lesson is tailored to your goals, whether that's building a portfolio, applying to film school, or simply telling better stories through film.

If you're serious about filmmaking or just want to start creating, I'd love to help you bring your ideas to life.

These lessons focus on practical, real-world filmmaking rather than just theory. You’ll learn techniques you can immediately apply—writing, directing, shooting, and editing—so that by the end, you’ll have tangible skills and, if you want, a completed project of your own.

Every lesson is personalized to your needs, helping you grow as a filmmaker while making the process engaging, creative, and effective.
