About Alexa
For the last seven years, I've dedicated myself to helping students unlock their potential in mathematics. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education, but my real passion comes from demystifying numbers and making them accessible to everyone. My teaching philosophy is simple: with patience, encouragement, and a personalized approach, any student can excel. I was incredibly honored to be named "Tutor of the Year" in 2022 by a local educational foundation, an award that recognized my commitment to student growth. The most rewarding part of my job is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks for a student. Hello! In my one-on-one online lessons, my primary goal is to transform math from a subject of stress into one of success. I use a digital whiteboard to work through problems together in real-time, just as if we were in the same room.
