About Ash
Having qualified as a Primary School Teacher in 2011, I have experiencing of teaching across both Key Stage 1 and 2 and preparing students for SATS, 11+ and entrance exams. I believe in making learning fun and relatable to each individual and in turn memorable.
I am confident teaching any area of the primary curriculum with a particular specialism in maths. I’m also passionate about using technology to enhance the teaching and learning process and if possible would place this at the heart of my teaching.
Prior to the tutoring commencing, I believe it is important to talk with the child to find out what makes them tick and from there develop a way of learning that suits them and enables us to achieve the best outcomes.
Although I’m based in Wilmslow, I’m happy to travel and find a time that suits both parties but most importantly find a time where that suits the individual.

My daughter was struggling with her maths and English in year 6 and I felt she needed help as she was going to secondary school. Ash was excellent,he made learning fun and explained things in a way that my daughter totally understood. She has grown in confidence and actually enjoys school now. I have no reservations in recommending Ash as a tutor.
Ash worked with my son for over year and the progress he made was outstanding. He always made the lessons fun and relevant to my sons interest. My son really looked forward to the lessons each week.
