About Carven

I started teaching since I started university, I had classes from one to twelve students and a variety of different age groups. I really enjoy when my students begin to form more complex sentences, they are able to express themselves better and the point is to have fun and not make learning a language stressful. I can prepare my students for placement tests and examinations.

About the lesson

Hi everyone, I am Carven, Australian with Chinese ancestry. I studied English and Spanish language and literature (in Mexico) and have many years of experience teaching English in many different contexts. I teach all levels, and try to give my students confidence and hope they enjoy the classes.
In my house I grew up with the Cantonese and studied Mandarin Chinese 8 years, so I have enough knowledge of the three most spoken languages in the world. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)

Perfect! Soy un alumno bastante reciente en clases por skype pero tengo que decir que las clases con Carven están resultando muy productivas. Tengo el inglés un poco oxidado pero con Carven las palabras comienzan a fluir y con un poco de estudio por mi parte, parece que voy mejorando día a día.

Perfect! LLevo varios meses mejorando mi inglés con Carven. Es una gran profesora con la que poder perfeccionar el idioma. Es organizada y lleva las clases siempre preparadas, a parte de ser una persona muy agradable. Totalmente recomendable.

He estado enseñando a María desde hace varios meses y he notado mucho su mejora en términos de fluidez y corrección de algunos pequeños hábitos gramaticales. Es una agradable tener clase con ella porque es muy comunicativa.

I've been teaching Maria for several months now and really noticed her improvement in terms of fluency and correcting some small grammatical habits. It's a nice class to have because she is very articulate and communicative.
