About Shivang
I am a friendly, patient and approachable tutor with a strong passion for helping students achieve their academic potential. Having achieved *3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at A-level*, alongside excellent GCSE results, including five Grade 9s, I understand what it takes to succeed in exams.
During sixth form, I was selected by my school to support and tutor fellow students, including those preparing for GCSEs and A-levels. This experience helped me develop the ability to explain complex topics clearly, adapt to different learning styles and build students' confidence.
Having recently completed my A-levels and secured a place to study Medicine at university in 2027, I have firsthand experience of the current curriculum, exam expectations and effective revision techniques.
My approach goes beyond simply teaching the subject. I focus on strengthening understanding, improving exam technique and helping students become confident, independent learners. Every lesson is tailored to the student's individual needs, learning pace and academic goals.
I aim to make learning engaging, supportive and rewarding, helping every student achieve their best.

My lessons are designed to make learning clear, engaging and tailored to each student's individual needs. Having recently achieved three A* grades in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at A-Level, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques that genuinely help improve exam performance.
During sixth form, I was selected by my school to support and tutor other students, which helped me develop a patient, friendly and adaptable teaching approach.
I start by understanding each student's strengths, weaknesses and academic goals. I then break down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps, using examples and practical exercises to make topics easier to understand. I believe in encouraging students to ask questions and develop a strong understanding of the subject rather than simply memorising information.
A typical lesson begins with a quick recap of previous topics, followed by an explanation of new concepts and guided practice. We then work through exam-style questions, focusing on exam techniques, mark schemes and common mistakes. I also encourage independent problem-solving to help students build confidence.
Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A-Levels, I can share effective revision strategies, useful resources and firsthand experience of what it takes to achieve top grades.
My aim is not just to help students improve their grades, but also to make learning enjoyable, build their confidence and help them become independent learners. Whether you're aiming for the highest grades or need extra support with challenging topics, I will adapt my lessons to suit your pace and goals.
