About Keira
I’m a Biology tutor with 6 years of experience teaching GCSE, A-Level, and university students. I cover all major exam boards and teach topics from cell biology, organisation, and bioenergetics to homeostasis, genetics, ecology, biological molecules, and human physiology. I also support required practicals, data analysis, essay writing, and biomedical science modules.
Over the past 6 years I’ve helped students improve from grade 4 to 9, secure A* grades for medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science, and succeed in first-year and second-year university courses. My approach is visual and concept-driven. We use diagrams, flowcharts, and stories to turn complex processes like protein synthesis, respiration, and action potentials into logical steps you can actually understand and recall.
Lessons are calm, structured, and tailored to you. We identify gaps first, then build with past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports. I’ll show you how to use key terminology, structure 6-mark and 25-mark answers, interpret graphs, and handle maths in biology. University students get help with lab reports, research essays, and linking theory to experimental results.

Lessons are structured, visual, and focused on what you need most. Whether you’re studying GCSE cell biology and ecology, A-Level genetics and physiology, or university modules in biochemistry, molecular biology, and neuroscience, we start with understanding before memorising.

We break down complex cycles and pathways step by step so you can recall them logically, not just by rote.
For GCSE and A-Level, we align everything to your specification and mark schemes. We practise 6-mark extended answers, data analysis, graph interpretation, and maths in biology. I’ll show you how to use key terms correctly, structure answers for full marks, and avoid common misconceptions. University students get help with essay writing, lab reports, research papers, and linking experimental data to theory.
Sessions are patient and interactive. Bring any question. We use past papers, active recall, and spaced repetition to make content stick. You’ll leave with concise notes, model answers, and a clear revision plan. The aim is to make biology logical, connected, and memorable so you feel confident in exams.
