About Owais
I am currently studying A-Level Mathematics and A-Level Further Mathematics, where I am predicted to achieve A grades in both subjects. At GCSE Mathematics I achieved a Grade 8 in Edexcel GCSE Mathematics with 205/240 marks, which is an average of around 85% across the three exam papers. Mathematics is one of my strongest subjects at school, and through my studies I have developed a strong understanding of the concepts and exam techniques needed to succeed in GCSE maths. I enjoy helping students understand topics clearly and sharing the methods that helped me achieve strong results in my own exams.

My lessons are designed to help students clearly understand topics and build confidence in maths. I achieved a Grade 8 (205/240 marks) in Edexcel GCSE Mathematics and I am currently studying A-Level Maths and Further Maths with predicted A grades, so I have a strong understanding of the material and exam techniques needed to succeed in GCSE Mathematics.
My teaching method is based on the exact approach I used to improve my own maths from around a Grade 5 level to achieving a Grade 8/9 standard. During lessons I will first explain a topic clearly and break it down into simple steps so the student fully understands the method. We will then start with easier practice questions before moving on to harder exam-style questions to build confidence and problem-solving ability.
Once the concept is understood, students will practise a range of questions to strengthen their understanding and improve exam technique. This helps students not only understand the maths but also learn how to gain marks effectively in exams.
Lessons are online and typically last 1 hour. They are aimed at students studying Edexcel GCSE Maths, particularly those who want to improve their understanding, build confidence, and work towards higher grades in their exams.
