My son’s grades were not great in December, so we hired Shauna to help get his grades up. She has been tutoring him in math (geometry), biology, and Spanish. She gives him extra homework to reinforce what he doing in school. Lessons are focused on his needs. He’s on track for A’s and B’s this semester.
He’ll be a junior next year and he’s scared about college applications. But now that his grades are improving, and he has some new study skills, I hope he’ll start to be more optimistic. I plan to continue tutoring with Shauna because Kenny says he likes their lessons, and i can see him improving. I find her to be very nice but firm about homework. she gives me regular updates and moves at a Good pace. Well worth the money to get our son prepared for the second half of high school.

Shauna has been a savior for my son. She has helped motivate him to get his grades up this year, and has been preparing him for the challenging years of high school.
He’s finishing the eight grade but his reading and writing skills have been below grade level. Our son was embarrassed about being so behind, but we hear this is common for students who had remote schooling during COVID times. Shauna has really boosted his self confidence, and his reading comprehension and speed. As the school year ends, Daniel is feeling so much better than he did when the year began. We recommend her for reading, writing, grammar, and boosting confidence.

Shauna has been a wonderful tutor for my daughter, who is finishing the 6th grade and has been struggling to catch up in math and English. My daughter was homeschooled for 4th and 5th grade and she’s had a hard time with the transition to public school for 6th grade.
Shauna has not only helped her with math, science, and reading to improve her grades, but she has also helped teach her study skills and testing skills.
She comes prepared with materials for every lesson, tailored to my daughter’s specific needs. She is polite, on time, and priced fairly. I will be continuing with her next school year.
