About Hriday
I have been involved in athletics from a young age and am currently a member of the Varsity Swim and Dive team at Georgetown University. I graduated in 2022 from Oxford University, a top-ranked high school in the US. All of these experiences have made me find even greater value in the importance of a good mentor, inspiring my actions as a tutor.

From my experiences in education so far, I've found that there are two different ways of learning: memorization and understanding. The first step to studying/teaching effectively is categorizing the content into one of these two groups. If something needs to be memorized, repetition is the best way to ingrain the information. When a certain concept can be understood, however, the process requires a different approach. My lesson plans make use of this strategy to best help students learn.
Another important factor in learning is the environment. I find it crucial to be patient and encouraging and make use of positive reinforcement to motivate students and build a constructive rapport.
