About Molly
Hello! I recently graduated with a First Class Honours from the University of Exeter, where I studied Economics & Finance with European Study. My course involved a lot of essays (especially in my final year), so the essay writing skills that I had developed through my EPQ proved to be invaluable!
In college, I completed my EPQ on Data Analytics (A*); I chose a topic that interested me greatly, so I really enjoyed the whole experience (I even managed to submit my work early)! EPQs can be a very intimidating task, but they shouldn’t be... with the right guidance they should be a fun challenge! You’re going to develop extremely important skills that you’ll use for the rest of your life, whilst creating a piece of writing that you’re really proud of… and, of course, receive top marks for your work!

Rather than conventional online lessons, I offer ‘marking time’. This is where you send me your work (whether it's your first or final draft) and I will fully proofread it and send it back to you in under 24h. It will include my extensive comments for you to read and make the changes in your own time!
A few things I will be checking:
- Typos and grammatical errors
- Referencing
- Use of sources
- Formatting
- Essay structure (e.g. logical paragraph ordering)
- Sentence structure and vocabulary
- Areas needing improvement (e.g. use of analysis)
I know how and where it’s easy for students to pick up marks, so I will also offer guidance on other documents needed to successfully complete an EPQ (e.g. logbook, project proposal, presentation). I also provide my students with relevant help sheets for various aspects of their EPQ (e.g. tips on picking a topic, research skills, collecting primary data, referencing correctly).
I have plenty of experience helping many students with their EPQs from a range of different subjects (e.g. psychology, architecture, medicine), so I am confident that I will be able to support you! I am here to help, so I will always be at hand to answer your questions.
