About Nathan

- I have a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Biola University and my concentration is in Secondary Education. - I graduated from the Torrey Honors College with high commendation. - I have shadowed both middle school and high school teachers for over 100 hours. - I have created countless lesson plans and I am well-versed in classroom management. - I have worked as a Youth Director for over three years, working with both middle schoolers and high schoolers. - My students as well as other teachers would describe my style as encouraging and easy to understand.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Nathan and I am so excited to help you not only understand but thrive in whatever you are trying to learn. I have worked for the last 4 years with students of all ages from elementary school to college students, and although my expertise is in biology, I can also teach other sciences as well as math and reading. If you work with me, you will not only learn the subject you are wanting to understand, but I will also encourage you and help you to set goals in your learning journey. I am very comfortable with a variety of tutoring styles to fit your needs, from a full lesson on a topic, to simply walking you through a challenging subject or homework assignment. I am also open to either online or in-person meetings with students of all ages. Whether you're looking to boost your grades, master tricky concepts, or build confidence in your learning, I'm here to help!
