About Neve
Hi! My name is Neve Collins, and I am an experienced biology tutor. I have a passion for science, having completed a bachelor's of advanced science (honors) majoring in microbiology at the University of Queensland, where I achieved a GPA of 6.625 (95%). I have tutored general science for students in Years 1–10. For Years 11 and 12, I specialize in ATAR-level Biology. At the tertiary level, I have extensive experience tutoring first-year biology courses across multiple universities, as well as second- and third-year courses where the content aligns with my expertise. I am committed to creating a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel empowered to succeed. I work closely with my students to achieve their goals.

I specialize in one-on-one tutoring, tailoring each lesson to suit the individual needs of my students. I have five years of experience tutoring primary and high school students privately and four years of experience tutoring tertiary courses. My sessions are typically one hour long and conducted remotely via Zoom. For younger students, the first session focuses on understanding their strengths and weaknesses, which I then target in future lessons. As students’ progress, I collaborate with them to identify areas for improvement and work together to build their confidence and skills. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
